Robert J. Peale is a former U.S. Space Force acquisition program manager, national security professional, and China policy expert. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Master’s in International Affairs focused on national security and diplomacy, Peale also completed the Air War College and Air Command and Staff College, earning distinction in Indo-Pacific strategy and defense studies.
A recipient of the Space Force Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the Air Force Exemplary Civilian Service Award, Peale has spent over a decade managing advanced space, satellite, and defense programs. His experience and academic research converge in his work as an author — offering readers a clear-eyed look at the philosophical and strategic forces driving China’s ambitions.
He is the author of The Dragon Slayer: A Primer on Countering China’s Strategic Encirclement of America and Natural Law & China’s Mandate of Heaven: How Eastern & Western Thought Impact Policy, Strategy & Statesmanship.
