Why Write About China?
Think China is a problem? It’s worse than you think. My new book, The Dragon Slayer, provides practical solutions for everyday Americans to counter China’s imminent threat to the US as well as background on how we got here.
My name is Robert Peale. I am a former US Space Force Acquisition Program Manager, a Texas Aggie, and a graduate of the Air War College, who left civil service as an NH-04 (GS-14/15). While recently working on my PhD in China Policy, I decided to put that on pause to write my book, The Dragon Slayer: A Primer on Countering China’s Strategic Encirclement of America. I realized that most Americans are unaware of China’s malicious plan to undermine and replace the US as the global superpower/hegemon. At the same time, many of the books that do discuss this assume the reader is already up to speed on the Chinese threat. That is why I decided to write this primer on China’s encirclement strategy for total/unrestricted warfare against the US. In addition to covering China’s communist background and expanding aggression in the South China Sea, my groundbreaking research explores the new trend that China is moving from soft to hard power in the Western Hemisphere. Most notably, China is actively establishing economic and security agreements with Latin American and Caribbean nations while building ports and logistics systems in the region to service China’s Navy (PLAN), among others. This will lead to anti-access/ area denial (A2/AD) in our own backyard. This gives China dual-use and military bases of operation in the Caribbean and the Atlantic, which must be stopped.
